Rack finder vs. Dictionary finder
Rack finder only returns words buildable from your letters. Dictionary finder searches by structure even when you do not know the available tiles — useful for spelling, crosswords, vocabulary, and pattern discovery.
Make words from a rack or search the bundled dictionary directly. Wildcards, fixed board letters, repeated-letter rules, scoring, and advanced filters all run in your browser.
Enter the letters you can play. Use ? or * for up to three blank tiles.
Start with a rack like , or switch to Dictionary finder and combine filters without a rack.
Displayed tile scores are base letter totals only. Wildcard-assigned letters score zero; fixed board letters keep their base letter value. Board premium squares and whole-turn bonuses are not modeled.
Load today's deterministic rack, think of your best word first, then use the finder to compare.

In Rack finder, a pattern like _r__e treats r and e as letters already on the board. Only underscore positions consume your rack. Starts/contains/ends/must-include never get this exemption.
The expanded set is a bundled general-English snapshot, not an official Scrabble®, Words With Friends®, or tournament lexicon. Use a game's official dictionary when formal play validity matters.
