Daily Go / No-Go
Play one deterministic response-inhibition block for the date, review commission and omission errors, and build a separate specialist streak without altering the frozen Today’s 6 rotation.
Open Daily Go / No-Go
The date chooses the source and concrete feature mapping. Replaying the same date reconstructs the same underlying block.
What makes the Daily version different
Practice is open-ended and seed-based. Daily Go / No-Go uses the calendar date as the start of a deterministic schedule. Replaying the same date reconstructs the same source and concrete shape/color mapping, so a retry does not quietly replace a difficult sequence with a different random draw.
Daily remains separate from Today’s 6
The platform has a frozen 2026 Today’s 6 sequence drawn from twelve established source games. Go / No-Go is not inserted into that rotation. Completing the specialist Daily writes to a separate Go / No-Go history and streak and does not change the six Daily slots.
365 distinct means actual block identity
The 2026 schedule is measured across all 365 dates. The scheduler materializes a deterministic candidate for each date and compares a complete block identity containing its source, rule mapping and concrete trial attributes. If an identity was already used earlier in the year, it advances a deterministic variant until it finds a new configuration. The final claim is 365 distinct actual configurations, not merely 365 different date strings.
The difficulty distribution is frozen for 2026
The measured 2026 Daily schedule contains 60 Easy, 180 Standard and 125 Challenge dates. That keeps Standard as the most common Daily experience while still including easier entries and a meaningful set of fast conjunction-rule Challenge blocks. The distribution is verified rather than inferred from intended weights.
The No-Go rule remains explicit
Daily does not hide the rule to manufacture difficulty. You see the current No-Go condition before starting. The challenge is building the frequent Go action and then withholding it when the rare condition appears. Training highlight is still available as Assisted practice and adds the visible STOP cue on No-Go trials.
Daily records completion, not perfection
This is a speed-accuracy practice task, not a puzzle with one solved board. The Daily record therefore stores the completed result even if there were commissions or omissions. That makes the history honest: a difficult day remains visible rather than disappearing unless you repeat until perfect.
What is saved locally
A Daily result stores the date, level, pace, overall accuracy, No-Go accuracy, median Go reaction time, RT MAD, commissions, omissions, post-error change and whether assistance was used. The specialist also maintains a local streak and best streak. No account or remote leaderboard is required.
Why a retry can still be useful
A first run measures an unfamiliar sequence. A retry uses the same date-stable sequence, so it can help you inspect whether one lure or one pace caused repeated errors. Familiarity changes the task, however, so a retry is practice rather than a fresh independent measurement.
Reading a Daily result
Start with commissions and omissions. If commissions dominate, you were responding on No-Go. If omissions dominate, the pace may have been too fast or you may have become overly cautious. Then read No-Go accuracy and median Go reaction time together. Speed without correct withholding is not treated as a superior result.
RT MAD and post-error change
RT MAD describes how tightly correct Go reaction times clustered around the median. Post-error change compares correct Go responses after an error with other correct Go responses when enough data exist. Both are transparent within-run summaries and remain blank when the block does not provide enough qualifying observations.
Adaptive pace on Daily
Daily can use the same local Adaptive pace as Practice. The date still determines the exact block; only the response window changes. Adaptive state is stored locally by difficulty and updates only from Clean Adaptive runs, so turning on Training highlight does not improve the stored Clean pace.
Migration preserves older specialist data
V0.139 uses its own versioned browser store. Migration from a populated V0.138 store creates a new V0.139 value while leaving the serialized V0.138 value byte-unchanged. Existing specialist histories are preserved and Go / No-Go starts with zero runs. Browser QA exercises the populated migration path.
A short Daily routine
Read the No-Go rule once, choose a pace you can control, and start. Keep your finger ready for Go but do not anticipate the stimulus. After the block, inspect commissions before changing pace. If you need Training highlight, use it deliberately and accept the Assisted label instead of treating help as a Clean result.
What Daily Go / No-Go does not claim
The Daily streak is a practice habit, not a clinical record. The game does not diagnose attention or inhibition problems and does not provide population percentiles. Device latency, interruptions, sleep, familiarity and input method can all affect the measured reaction times and error pattern.
Practice and Daily use one authority
Both modes use the same frozen source bank, materializer, exact rule semantics and result definitions. Practice gives fresh seeds and direct level control; Daily gives one date-stable configuration. Commission, omission, Clean, Assisted and pace mean the same thing in both modes.
