Japanese Kanji
Build kanji meaning and reading recall from a source-backed N5–N1 study dataset.
N5 · 79 kanji.
Master all 2,211 source-backed kanji in 113 decks.
Each deck contains at most 20 frozen kanji and moves through Study, typed Meaning Recall, typed Reading Recall, Reverse Recognition and a mixed Mastery Check. Real first-attempt misses feed inherited Weak Kanji; correct academy repetitions do not artificially advance the classic SRS schedule.
The first incomplete deck is recommended unless a saved Weak Kanji deck needs attention first.

Community-derived N5–N1 labels are study groupings, not an official JLPT kanji specification.
N5 · Deck 1
Up to 20 kanji · five checkpoints.
Meaning asks you to type an English meaning instead of recognizing a button. Reading accepts listed on/kun readings in kana or common romaji. Reverse uses choices only where the primary English prompt is unambiguous inside the selected level.
Correct first attempts move a kanji through 1, 3, 7, 14 and 30-day local review stages. Actual misses enter Weak Kanji. Three correct Review attempts retire a weak item. These stages are schedules, not memory probabilities.
The 2,211-item bank is derived from OpenJLPT data using community JLPT level assignments and KANJIDIC2 dictionary details under CC BY-SA 4.0. The JLPT does not publish an official post-2010 kanji specification, so N5–N1 labels here are study groupings, not certification.
