How to play & strategy
Follow passages, not wallsMove only into a neighboring cell with an open edge. Reach G from S.
Use junction memoryAt a branch, remember which direction you tried. The optional Trail is visual memory, not an answer reveal.
Backtrack deliberatelyA perfect maze has no loops, so a wrong branch eventually ends and the route back is unambiguous.
Ask for help only when neededHint highlights one adjacent step on the unique current-to-goal route and marks the run Assisted.
Generate locallyExpert and Custom boards are generated in-browser as perfect mazes. No server or remote puzzle feed is required.
Print the same boardThe playable board has a clean print layout; Show route can provide an Assisted answer view before printing.
What is a perfect maze?
A perfect maze is a tree: every cell is reachable, there are exactly cells−1 passages, and there is exactly one simple route between any two cells. The 60 frozen 11×11–25×25 boards power the Library and verified practice pool; Expert and Custom use the same invariant by construction.
