Open one stable Medium Sudoku for the calendar day, separate from whether Sudoku happens to occupy today’s rotating Logic slot in Today’s 6. Reloading the daily link on the same date selects the same verified grid, while Fresh puzzle remains available when you want unlimited Practice afterward.

This landing enters the real Sudoku engine with a date-based seed and Medium difficulty. It does not create a second daily score or fake archive: the standalone Daily Sudoku is a repeatable Practice ritual, while the main Today’s 6 score remains a separate six-game routine.
A stable puzzle for the day
The Daily Sudoku selector is deterministic. The current date and difficulty form the seed, so opening the same link twice on the same day produces the same fixture from the verified Medium pool. That gives a visitor a dependable “today’s puzzle” without requiring an account, database, cron job or server-generated puzzle. The following date naturally produces a different deterministic selection when the seed changes.

Separate from Today’s 6
The platform’s main Daily experience rotates six games across word, number, knowledge, geography, logic and skill pillars. Sudoku only occupies the logic pillar on some dates. This standalone Daily Sudoku does not alter that rotation and does not pretend to be another seventh Daily score. It runs through Practice storage so the main six-game streak and 6,000-point Daily Score keep their original meaning.
Continue with a fresh grid
Finishing or simply leaving today’s puzzle does not trap you on one board. Fresh puzzle switches from the date-stable seed to a new Practice seed and selects another verified fixture at the same difficulty. V0.40 still keeps the Daily board on its verified source fixture, while Fresh Practice moves into seeded symmetry variants derived from the same independently checked source library. Daily therefore stays stable and auditable while repeat Practice becomes much less repetitive.

All solving tools remain optional
The date-based workflow uses the exact same board as ordinary Practice: Notes, Undo, Erase, Auto Notes, Technique Coach, Hint, Reset and keyboard controls all remain available. Auto Notes never reveals a solved value. Technique Coach explains supported Singles, locked-candidate or Pair logic. Hint is the explicit value-reveal option and carries its normal score penalty.
A daily puzzle you can also print
If you prefer pencil and paper, Print puzzle uses the browser’s print dialog and a dedicated print stylesheet. Only the original givens are shown in the printed grid, even if you already entered values or notes on screen. The daily seed means the printed board also matches the online board for that date.
