How this challenge works

Sudoku Practice starts from 160 offline source grids independently checked for exactly one solution. Ordinary Practice then applies deterministic Sudoku symmetries to those sources, giving Fresh replay substantially more board variety without relying on an unchecked random generator. Notes, Auto Notes and Technique Coach are optional so you can solve unaided or ask for candidate-level guidance.

• Fill each row, column and 3×3 box with 1–9.

• Hint is separate and fills a value only when you choose it.

From full puzzles to deliberate technique practice

The full game and the Technique Academy serve different jobs. Full puzzles train scanning, candidate maintenance and deciding what to try next. The Academy isolates recognition. Its 72 verified states cover nine techniques from Singles through X-Wing, Swordfish and Skyscraper, and it separates Clean recognition from Hint/Reveal-assisted completion. Use the classic frozen 40-drill Lab when you want the original seven-technique curriculum, or move to the Academy when you want the broader V0.147 track.

The advanced 32 Academy states are not arbitrary diagrams. They are derived from the same 160 verified Sudoku source grids and independently rechecked from candidate constraints. Four Swordfish and four Skyscraper states are selected from each Easy, Medium, Hard and Expert source pool, so the advanced bank is not dominated by a single difficulty.
