Anagram Game
Unscramble clue-backed words from a balanced 360-answer Practice bank. Choose Mixed, Easy, Standard or Hard, then play Quick 5, Deep 10 or a timed Sprint.
Start a fresh Deep 10
Each answer has a stored clue. Shuffle changes presentation only; Nudge and Reveal are explicit assists, and clean clears earn setup-specific local best times.
Three balanced Practice pools
V0.45 expands repeatable Practice to 360 unique clue-backed answers: 120 Easy entries of up to six letters, 120 Standard seven-letter entries, and 120 Hard entries of eight letters or more. Mixed Quick 5 and Deep 10 deliberately pull from all three bands rather than letting one length dominate a round.
The clue remains visible because this game is about rearranging a specific answer, not finding every dictionary anagram that might exist for the same letters. Every stored answer is A–Z only, answer text is unique, and the release gate also rejects duplicate sorted-letter signatures inside the curated bank.
Quick 5 and Deep 10
Fixed rounds preserve the existing accuracy-first interaction. Tap or type letters into answer positions, use Backspace/Delete to remove the last tile, and press Enter to submit. A first incorrect full arrangement lets you try again; a second reveals the answer and advances so one word cannot trap the whole session.
Shuffle is free because it reveals no new information. Nudge locks the next correct prefix and carries the visible 50-point score tradeoff. Reveal shows the answer without counting it as solved. A clean clear means every word was solved with zero Nudges and zero Reveals; local stats keep a clean best time separately for each difficulty and round length.
Timed Sprint is a separate mechanic
Sprint fixes the clock at 30, 60 or 120 seconds and asks you to solve as many seeded clue-backed scrambles as possible. It does not start until you press Start. Wrong full guesses cost time and break the clean streak; Nudge also breaks the clean streak, while Skip reveals the current word and moves on. Specialist PBs compare raw solved count only within the same timer and difficulty. Recent runs also stay in local Practice history so repeat sessions have useful context without an account.
Daily stability is intentionally isolated
The larger 360-answer bank is for repeatable Practice. The rotating Daily Anagram, Archive replays and standalone Daily Anagram Challenge continue using the established first 240 answers. That preserves date-seeded historical behavior instead of silently changing prior Daily boards because Practice content expanded.
