Play today’s six-word set

The current local date selects one balanced set. Reopen it later today and the same six answers return; tomorrow gets a new deterministic set.

One six-word set for the current day

The Daily Anagram Challenge is a standalone Practice workflow built for people who want the same word-scramble set when they return later that day. The six answers are selected deterministically from the local calendar date, so reopening the challenge on the same date produces the same six words. The selection is balanced across the full bank: two Easy answers, two Standard answers and two Hard answers. On the next local date, the seed changes and a new six-word set is selected.

This challenge does not add a seventh game to Today's 6. DailyBrainArc already has a rotating word pillar in its main daily routine, where Anagram can appear alongside the five-letter Word game or Word Search. This page is intentionally separate: it is a focused daily anagram destination for search visitors and repeat players, and its result is saved as Practice rather than being inserted into the 6,000-point daily total.

Fair help, visible consequences

Every scramble comes with a short clue from the curated answer bank. Shuffle can be used as often as you like because it only reorders remaining tiles. Nudge places the next correct letter and costs 50 points. Reveal shows the full answer, counts it as revealed rather than solved, and moves to the next word. Two full incorrect submissions also trigger a reveal so the challenge keeps moving instead of becoming a dead end.

The completion summary tells you exactly how many of the six you solved, how many Nudges and Reveals you used, and how much active solve time was recorded. Accuracy carries most of the 1,000-point score, time supplies a smaller bonus, and Nudge deductions are explicit. The game does not claim a global rank, vocabulary percentile or memory percentage because there is no account-level population dataset supporting those numbers.

Why six words?

Six is long enough to mix all three difficulty bands without making a daily word challenge feel like homework. Two answers come from each band, and the full V0.34 bank contains 80 entries in each of those bands. That means the daily set can vary across a much larger inventory than the earlier 119-answer version while still following a predictable difficulty composition.

The challenge is also deliberately shorter than Deep 10. Daily play is about a repeatable habit; Deep 10 is the better option when you actively want practice volume. V0.45 expands repeatable Practice to 360 curated answers, but this date-stable Daily workflow intentionally keeps the established 240-answer source so previously reproducible dates do not change. If you finish today's six and want more, switch to the regular Anagram Game or the timed Sprint.

Practical solving approach

Read the clue first. With a likely meaning in mind, scan the tiles for familiar starts, endings and consonant pairs. If you think the answer is a noun or action word, common endings can narrow the structure. When a layout starts to feel visually “stuck,” Shuffle changes the presentation without revealing a letter. Use Nudge only when you actually want that tradeoff; it is designed as a small push, not an invisible assist.

The six-word set can be played with mouse, touch or keyboard. Letter keys choose a matching tile, Backspace/Delete returns the latest letter, and Enter submits a completed arrangement. Filled positions are buttons, so a placed letter can also be returned by selecting that position directly.

What to play next

The daily anagram is one language mechanic. Five-letter Word emphasizes deduction from positional feedback, while Word Search emphasizes visual scanning across a generated grid. The broader Anagram Game offers repeatable Quick 5 and Deep 10 rounds when you want more than today's fixed set.
